What does the quote include?
You don?t want to be surprised when you keep getting several bills, so ask if the price includes padding, installation, old carpet disposal, furniture moving, measuring or anything that affects the new flooring.
You want it in writing as well, so ask for a detailed estimate.
Also, inquire:
?Will I need subfloor repair? If so, how long will that take, and is there a charge? What will it entail?
?How long before I can walk on the new floor? How long before I can move the furniture back in? (These are often two separate timetables.)
?Can you give me references and are you bonded and insured?
