Dismiss any memories of vinyl from years past. Now highly designed, there is embossing to give depth and dimension. Your floors can look wire-brushed, hand scraped, weathered, or distressed.
Each plank is created by first taking an image of a species. It is done with 3-D photography, so you see every grain, knot, swirl, and vein. The vinyl is then cut into strips and mounted on boards to resemble authentic wood flooring. Ask your retailer to show you samples.

?Durability. While all vinyl is strong, this is layered. At the top is a clear plastic wear sheet that protects the floor from scratches and scuffs. It?s not possible to wear down the image, no matter how much foot traffic it sees. Stains sit at the top, so they wipe off easily and it is waterproof.
